Any chance of getting new skin complexions (IE freckled appearance, etc.) or character stances? What about other character modifications being made more generally available, for example new race pieces added to the Alien generator?
(1) If you place a runabout (same with shuttles?) next to a Sovereign -class, it won't fit into the hangar. Oops! Likewise, Miranda's seem almost as big as a Sovereign. Are there plans to fix the scaling of ships?
(2) When will the "Go to Bridge" function for runabouts (and shuttles)?
(3) On many current bridges, the wall-mounted panels display a specific class of ship. Will this be adjusted to dynamically change to the active ship type?
Could there be a way in which First Contact and other Diplomacy Missions effect the kind of missions you do in Exploration Clusters?
Some of the ideas I have:
First Contact mission are randomized as with other missions in the Exploration zones, where rather than arriving in a pre-destined place by Sugihara, your ship scans an anomaly, picks up a warp signature, and then you meet thier warp prototype (Either a Frigate or even a "fighter"), then meet with the ambassador in the lounge like you normally would. (Or in some cases, the team of scientists that built their warp prototype)
Sugihara still assigns pre-arranged first contact missions, but this is with more advanced races and those Exploration Cluster races we see currently in STO. Also the type of ship you meet indicates the kind of species they are (Frigate: New to warp travel, Escort: Aggressive, Cruiser: Neutral, Science: Pacifist, Battleship: Advanced/Delta Quadrant refugee)
Afterwards, you will continue to meet these races in the exploration cluster you found them in and Sugihara monitors your reputation with these races.
More reputation means more diplomacy with these races and they will ask you for help. ("Aid The Planet", "Scan the Gorgans", et al) Lower reputation means more "Investigate Abandoned Base" missions and the more likely they will be your opponent.
Successful Diplomacy missions = Higher reputation, dropped missions/defeating them in combat = lower reputation.
And then you recieve some sort of reward (from Sugihara) once your reputation is high enough, but lower reputation also means they begin to trade weapons with the local rival (IE: Eridan Belt enemies begin trading with Romulans/Hirogen or Rolor Nebula enemies trade with the Dominion and use similar weapons).
I'd like to know when you're going to make pvp worth it for people to play. Klingons are too overpowered for space, and no one likes to play ground because it's not Call of Duty enough for them.
When are we going to see these pvp changes?!
Also, I'd like to see something to rival the Klingon's carriers. We know the Federation and every other faction has fighters of some sort. I'd like to see them put into action. Peregrines and shuttles and scout ships.
When will we see single seat ships usable in combat?
In an effort to try and understand the thought process of developers and perhaps a gleam into the future of STO, I was wondering if any thought has been given to the following....
1.) Perhaps opening up just the neutral zones as areas of world pvp or even the ability to flag for pvp
2.) Instead of creating new ships for T6 allow those who reach that point the ability to refit existing ships in their inventory. Instead of getting a new ship, captains would take one of the bridge officer layouts (science, cruiser, escort etc) and be able to apply that to what they have as it corresponds. This would allow captains the ability to keep flying their assault cruiser, or Nebula, or go back and get to fly that Akira or Hope class again...cause we all know EVERYONE digs those T3 science vessels...well I do at least
ohhh and any chance we might be able to put up on the wall in our ready rooms pictures of an old clipper ship, space shuttle, or NX class a la Archer's ready room?
Q: Anything to share regarding Exploration revamp?
Q: I am not quite sure how to interpret last month's reply regarding Open PvP, (maybe just because I didn't like the common interpretation )- Was that a no to an Open PvP Sector Block or Territory Control Sector Block in the future?
Q: What to do instead or in the meaintime? Tournament or PvP ladder system, so that there is at least some long-time motivation for PvP players? A few new PvP maps? A new set gained by PvP participation?
Q: Any new consumables or sets planned? Maybe as rewards for Fleet Actions and/or PvP? It's been ages since I've done my last FA...
Q: Any plans for lower tier ships or costumes for Klingons? Additional costumization options for the new KDF vessels so that they don't all look the same?
Q: Any plans on extending the set of aliens with more "fanastic" ones then the Startrek standard "Aliens with bumps on their foreheads"?, eg. tripeds or creatures with tentacles instead of arms? Either for Foundry or for play? (Foundry would be cool for having more options to bring new aliens to meet in exploration-related stories)
When will we be seeing the new ranks past VA, and what kind of rewards/powers (if any) are we going to be seeing? Is it the standard Bridge officer every second level, or do you have anything else planned?
Will you be adding more Diplomacy missions and will they give out more Diplomacy experience?
(I don't mind grinding, but the amount of experience you get for doing the missions is too small.)
I know a lot of people hate old ships, but can we please get the Constellation Class?
When you do add the third faction will it be the poll winning Romulans?
Will you be fixing the bugs that are still in Gamma Orionis?
When you do make more Bridge Packs, could you base them off the Federation Bridge Pack: Prometheus.
These bridges actually feel like a bridge in there size and not like the stadiums the others feel and look.
