That's more the post that you read into to find that meaning.

You made an incredibly unhelpful, flat remark. He responded by clarifying that he is the ship with the highest impulse modifier and did not stop to fight. He questioned how it was possible under the conditions, something you didn't even attempt to answer with "He knows how to do it faster than you," and that was the entire point of the thread ("How the hell did he do that?").

Anything else is an assumption you've made because instead of reading what was posted, you attempted to read into what was posted.

If you insinuate something then you said it, just subtly and indirectly. If you're going to try splitting hairs there should be a hair there to split.

Some you win, some you lose. Isn't that the way of things?

Much to my surprise, one guy (as was later visible from the score) captured everything else in the same amount of time as I captured those two nodes!
This happened (same guy) in 3 BG's in a row. How the hell did he do that?

(I assume the score is calculated from the captured objectives, not from damage done, since I was second and attacked only one hulk, everyone else was chasing Klingons)
In Ker'rat you also run the frequent risk of entering an instance with one of the ubiquitous gold farmers, who have run the instance hundreds (probably thousands) of times, and have mapped out the optimal routes and know which nodes are bugged, which ones are easiest to get, etc. Often times, they will have scanned 5+ nodes and destroyed 1+ Hulk before the 'real' players have even been able to gather 2 of the Nodes.... They ruin the game for the 'real' players that just want the opportunity to attempt the instance, and have a shot at getting the Rare reward for first place in the instance (not accounting for Klingon activity, which is an entirely different interaction ).

That is why my Fleet hunts them, without pity or mercy. We gladly hinder, harass, and otherwise disrupt the gold farmers at every opportunity, to allow legitimate players (from either side) to run the instance.

Speaking of Goldfarmers, some of them also seem to indeed know exploits. If the number was higher then it could be normally (I think top is 24 for 8 nodes scanned and 4 hulks destroyed), than you might have a case of that.

Just today (or yesterday?) Azurian posted something like that on such a gold farmer. I think I have a vague idea how the exploit works from the thread.

There is still simply the possibility that some people have really mastered the instance. There are probably some default routes you can take to get your nodes faster (e.g. where it is easier to avoid enemies).

As this game has so few gold sellers (i've not seen any spam from them for months) how do you make certain you are pestering a real player? I just hope that you don't get your fingers burnt for harrasment and get a ban...

As for the 1st part.....yesterday I put a goldseller on ignore at spacedock. So yeah they are still present.
And for the 2nd part. This is defined as spacewar so itīs a PvPvE map and so itīs ok to engage others. And if this person is a known goldfarmer the effort is appreciated :p

That's why we log their in-game locations and activity (and submit tickets and reports on a regular basis, thus far, to no avail)... Same account online for 70+ hours straight at a time, ONLY in Ker'rat (with brief breaks to run to K-7, to drop off their ill-gotten loot)... Abuses every exploit in Ker'rat (and there are a BUNCH of them)... We're certain... We even self-report in our GM tickets that we are actively targeting these gold farmers... We're proud every time that any player (Fed or KDF) wins an instance that one of the gold farmers is in, as it means that we gave that player an opportunity that the gold farmer was trying to steal from them.

Plus, if it was 'real' players, we would have been reported for harassment LONG ago, but they never report us, because they don't want the GM's looking too closely at their account activity.

Although the Zone spam for gold sellers has been drastically reduced since launch (kudos to Cryptic, although, the past two weeks has seen a sudden, unexpected up-surge), there are dozens of websites out there that still offer the product (farmed EC), that a simple Web search will reveal, they don't necessarily need to spam Zone chat to get people to buy from them...

In any case, we proudly stand against the abuses and exploits of the gold farmers, and if it should ever turn out that we were harassing a 'real' player, we would do everything in our power to make it up to them.

If they are using exploits like forced faction change or getting more points then normally would be possible, there are good chances he found a real gold farmer...

And if they are a poor Federation or Klingon player... Well, it is still a PvP map.
