but some of the earlier concepts gave the First Officer an additional universal "Bridge Slot" on whatever ship you are currently captaining, in effect increasing that ship's Bridge Officer Power selection by freeing up the slot normally occupied by your #1. This is one example of how we want to make First Officers unique.
Oooo I really like this idea and hope it is implemented in the future!

As far as Tellarite height, our lead character artist has posted that we use the Archer to Tellarite reference where Archer is 6.0 and thus our max Tellarite height is currently 5.5. We consider this reference to be more current and accurate to the Tellarite species definition than TOS refs.
Why not just broaden the range to 5'10" instead of disregarding the stuff from TOS? Weren't they Tellarites too?

I even asked Matt this question last year in a PM and he said the following to me. "We decided to go more toward the 5'10" tellarite to give a slight bit of diversity... and so that you don't see a ton of really large tellarites running around! " What's the big deal on restricting them on a few inches. ( I'm mostly saying this cause my Tellarite was intended to be 5'7" and i'm 2 inches short... pun not intended. )

If we ever had an, "Ask the Cryptic Fans" - one of our questions would be "Why do players make their humans 6'4 or taller?"

A. They all want to be Dutch.

One question I have, based on Stahl's response is the level cap. He said something along the lines of when the cap is raised to Fleet Admiral...

My concern, question, is whether or not the rank of Admiral will be included before Fleet Admiral.

For example, Starfleet, and the US Navy (which starfleet is based off off) currently has Rear Admiral Lower Half, Rear Admiral Upper Half, Vice Admiral, Admiral, then Fleet Admiral.

Will STO be including that rank in their level scheme or will we be going from Vice Admiral to Fleet Admiral?

Actually, most of my characters, BOs included are below that... in fact I would make some of them below 5'6" if I could. Why is there a shortness cap in the game? Aliens can be as short as 4' something I think. >.> I think the shortness cap should be reduced to 5'3".
