# 1 So im back...

Was wondering how much stuff changed. I last played this game when it was just launched and got bored quickly. Maybe someone has an answer for these questions:

1. Is Klingon as boring to play now as it was before? No storyline, just pvp?

2. If i were to go Federation again, what's a fun spec to go now? I heard science officers have pretty funny things but i'm mostly talking about the coolness factor (lasers, looks and pew pew potential).

3. How long would it take to get to fly a decent ship? Is the leveling as slow as before?

4. Still so many bugs?

Feel free to add any other comments u might have, would help me decide what to go for till the patcher finishes the update.

(thanks to atari i had to buy a new account cuz they screwed with the billing system)

Klingons have a few missions added around the season 2 mark and they have access to all the featured episodes as well, what I've played so far is pretty good. Levelling has never really been all that slow, it really just depends on how much you play. In my opinion, engineering is the way to go for a character, it's got the most fun abilities (in my own opinion). I haven't noticed that many bugs to be honest

New things have been added to boost the fun factor of being a Klink.

What is so fun about Engineer?

And 1v1 wise, wouldn't i stand a better chance with a badass tactical officer cruiser or with all the jams and stuff from Science?

Btw, do Klingons have any equivalent to this? Can they specialize on different types of ships/skills?

I went Tactical but with cruisers. I find the combination of firepower and tanking pretty good. Leveling isn't an issue. You'll move up at a healthy click depending on how much you play. There is another series coming in February as well as even more game tweaks. There are a lot of good changes coming over the next several months. All in all, you should be pleased with the changes.

Welcome back.

The Klingons now have 8 faction specific episodes, as well all of the featured episodes:

In addition to the above, Klingons also have star clusters now, as well as about a dozen repeatable patrol type missions.

Well, I prefer Engineer for the ability to recharge my shields. But thats more a gameplay reason over "fun".

Thats kind of a strange question, because most people think leveling is too fast. The answer is, it depends on how much you play and what you consider a "decent" ship.

4. Still so many bugs?

Every MMO has its share, and STO is no different. If you tell us which specific ones you mean, we can give you a better answer.

See my answers above in gold. Hope you enjoy your return

There's a few episodes for Klingons now, including something called sorties in the PI Canis sector I believe. The new missions they've added are pretty awesome, but it's still not enough to do as a Klingon, there's much longer gaps between the missions than the Feds. As for the sorties, I honestly can't give you an opinion because I haven't played my Klingon since they've been added - But I do believe they have crafting now like the Feds.

If you're looking for exciting, fast gameplay I'd suggest a tac in an escort with all cannons and turrets. They have crap survivability, but the dps and the sight of your escort blasting things to smithereens kinda makes up for it.

How long to fly a decent ship? In my opinion there's a decent ship in every tier, but if you're talking about when you'll be able to see your skills and investment come into play, I'd say Commander.

As for leveling, I think the leveling has become a lot less of a grind, especially since the new weekly episodes have been added - Which I would highly suggest doing the ones in Eta Erandis(sp?), I'm not too big of a fan of the deferi weeklies personally.

I personally haven't ran into many bugs at all, only thing I could think of off the top of my head is the one shot kills that happens on elite difficulty in ground missions.
