With today's patch on the anniversary of STO, there's a new font, which I dislike.

But also, the color of all text on my screen is grayed. Bright yellow is now grayish yellow, white is gray, green is grayish green.

So, combined with the new font, all text is difficult to read.

And it's not just the chat window, but all text on my screen, in all missions, dialog boxes, etc.

I do not see any options under Video or anywhere to increase the brightness of the text.

How do you change text colors or at least make them brighter?

Thanks for the response, but your answer only applies to the chat system, NOT to text on the entire screen for missions and other text in the HUD, such as in the mission tracker and notifications.

I want ALL text in the HUD to be brighter.

Is there any way to do that ?

Well, I believe you can change the size in Options, but I think that's it. Maybe if you adjust the brightness it will help.

I haven't seen the changes yet. I may have to do the same thing.
