I just noticed that Tactical Team puts Science Team into a cool down!?

This needs to be removed as ALL the enemies we face in PvE are Sci Ships slinging SNB!

Not all the science ships use SNB in PvE. It's fine.

The two powers have shared cooldowns for awhile (with Engineering Team too).

Just don't run all three XXXX Team. They share a 15 second global cooldown.

Hasn't it always been like that? All the ____ Team abilities put the other ones into cooldown. Granted the cooldown time is about half (maybe less I don't remember) but its always been that way.

It has always been this way. However Tac Team has only recently actually become useful.

Agreed, but IMHO I don't see the need to take away the shared cooldown. It hasn't really been an issue in the past between the 3 "team" abilities so why does Tac Team finally being useful make a difference?

Tactical Team is only really useful against boarding parties, imo. So, either Borg content or against PvP builds that incorporated it.

It doesn't. It's just that now people are more likely to run all three teams at the same time (or attempt to anyway). I don't think the global cooldown is a problem. I have never used tac team and even after its recent buff I am not going to use it.

The problem is the Breen, or Tractor Breen as I like to call them.

The "Cheat Great" Cruisers put out a lot of firepower on the higher levels and pretty much turn like an Escort so Tac Team is now finally usefull.

However since the Breen can ONLY fight by using Sci powers, you never know when they are going to SNB you.

So you have to manually adjust your shields like before the fixing of Tac Team making it somewhat useless in this situation.

I guess you can wait until they pop SNB then use Tac Team, but I like how it works in other encounters.

all of the team need there own timer seeing how they all do different things and your not going to send 1 team to do the others jobs
