I read that the ground combat rules are going to change so we can literally shoot at anything. Well, Why not make it so that the snowball fight scenario has a rule like whoever hits anyone else with a snowball the most within x number of minutes wins. If nobody hits anyone within that period it goes into "sudden death," where first person to hit someone else wins.

Or dont code any rules at all and just let people fling snowballs at each other...

Disable the ability to use the snowballs anywhere but the Holodeck, or places where the only one seeing it is you...

As far as I know, the cryo grenade isn't being taken away. The only one that will is the cryo bomb that turns everyone into ice cubes.

Neither are being taken away. Chaddington (I think it was) said that they will be adjusting it to be less 'intensive' on people's machines. I'm all for that. Some Fleetmates and I were lining up for a picture on Ship Requisitions yesterday, and a passerby thought it would be funny to toss biothermal dampeners at us. Most everyone's machines slowed down to an agonizing .5 fps or so. Really not cool.

That would be good for a holodeck romp as well...

If they put the Holodeck in the starbases and add all sorts of multiplayer scenarios, there will be a social reason for visiting the starbases and will solve a lot of the problems concerning social interaction with fellow players...

We also need baseball: A DS9 Holosuite exclusive. Sisko's program could have been left in the system all these years...
