This is pure foolishness...ok, I realize that the guy from the second news piece made 500k+ dollars in the process, it's only that I can't understand the reasoning behind it...it's almost as if people are trying to imitate the movie "Surrogates" but with the current, limited technology. Some years ago, I remember for example Second Life being "the next big thing", people spending awful amounts of money to buy stuff and even some singers having "Virtual Concerts" over there.

Sounds silly to me, and if there was a nerdiness race being held, I would be starting at the top of the grid...
