That's what I had thought as well. RECIPROCITY was the operation that called for the unsanctioned bombing of cartel targets.

I genuinely believe this mission was the second best I've ever played, behind only "Suspect"

We see eye to eye, then.

I loved the new episode. Great job Devs!

I just had one problem; maybe I'm just dense.

While decrypting the coded message, one of the puzzles deals with a numerical sequence, but the clues are vague at best. I picked all the answers until I got the right one, but I still didn't understand what they were looking for. Anyone able to explain it to me?

It's a Fibonacci number sequence: Each number is the sum of the two prior numbers. Thus, starting with 0 and 1, your next number is:
0 + 1 = 1
Then:
1 + 1 = 2
1 + 2 = 3
2 + 3 = 5
3 + 5 = 8
5 + 8 = 13
and so on, so your sequence is 0 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 ...

Color me REALLY dense, because I still don't get it. But I managed to get the right number by trial-and-error, so I'm okay.

you have a list of numbers, if you add the first two together it gives you the third number

so going back to the example in the previous post, you start with two numbers, 0 and 1

0+1 = 1, the first two numbers are 0 and 1, the third number is 1 so you have 011
now add the second and third numbers, 1+1=2, the fourth number is 2, now you have 0112

and you just keep going with that

I understood how the numbers would add up, but didn't see how to solve something like 803 and such. Not the exact numbers, perhaps, but the same situation.

This said, I was grateful that when all else failed (because by that point I had all the other codes deciphered) I could still complete it through trial and error.

OK, this is a BIG spoiler...

You have (for example)

1 1 A 2 3 (1+2=2, 1+2=3)

You can deduce the next row. (2+3=5,3+5=8,5+8=13)

5 8 B 13

Then 8+13=21, 13+21=34

21 C 34

Etc. The numbers don't just go in sequence in an individual row, they go in sequence across rows. Not sure whether to admit this, but I did a Bachelors in maths, and work with numbers for a living, and didn't spot it... it's not the most obvious thing ever!
