All that said, the REASON STII:TWoK is so enjoyed (even with the plotholes) is because of how the characters were written and portrayed - and good execution of the better/stronger elements of the story as a whole.)
Well Reliant was a small ship, maybe they didn't have all the Ceti Alpha system details in it's computers to save memory space. good point

Uh huh. The movie still sucked. :p

Gene Shalit panned Star Wars when it first came out as a "nothing movie that will go nowhere", so critics don't know squat.

It is a shame because they managed to put together a very talented cast. I would like to see that cast in a well written story with a director who knows how to do more than 1 camera effect.

Star Trek V, Insurrection, Generations, and Nemesis were worse IMO
