It just seems retarded and half-baked to not have an option box to select the transition effect desired... period... how boldly does it need to be said... how about... This Is Totally LAME!!!

Just a fade to black would be better.... how hard can it be... I mean seriously... are we being treated like children and have to yell, cry, scream and throw a temper tantrum to get what should have been there from the start?

Top Ten Reasons Why We only have Beaming Map Transitions:

10) they never thought of this

9) it's too difficult

8) they forgot

7) the Targ ate the paper that the code was scribbled on

6) that dude has been out sick

5) saving it for a major update

4) trying to make us like them when it finally happens

3) an earthquake knocked the labels off the disks

2) it's in the contract

1) Atari said NO WAY!

Let's remember that what we've played so far on the Foundry is its first release.
The first build hasn't even been given to us yet.

Threads like this are good however to show what we want when things are improved upon.

Or....it may really be harder than you think.

Now you may be right. But honestly, id rather not go off wildly accusing when we dont know whats happening behind their doors. Better to simply provide feedback like we've always done, and unfortunately be unknowingly stonewalled, than accuse hardworking people trying their best to overcome roadblocks in programming. Former is not good, but the latter, to me, is worse.
