When you beam down to the planet your bridge officers are stuck underground, also the grunt NPC's get stuck underground too. Looks like they fall thru the map, doesn't have any affect on your own character, can still use the map ok, even tried dying and re spawning but still the same officers stuck and npc's attack through the ground.... lol
Had to sneak about and scan the rocks without getting agro'd to complete the mission.
The exploration missions within Delta Volanis are randomly generated with the Genesis engine - the random name of the system is an indicator of that.
Unfortunately, this particular bug is not new. Its been complained about ever since Headstart, but the fixes don't seem to be working. Best solution so far is to simply beam out, drop the mission and fly around until you get another one. Not ideal, but there are always other systems in the cluster.
