Technically, the newest are the Star Cruisers, DSSVs, Recon Science Vessels, and Fleet Escorts.

Also, I disagree, ThomasTheCrypticCat, who helps make the minigames for Cryptic, has a rather good idea that involves adding old ships/costumes/interiors. I'm all for his plan. He wants to have enough parts from other eras in the foundry for players to make missions set in another Star Trek era. Then players will be able to get foundry missions from other eras, and once there are enough, players will be able to level all the way to max as a character from another era of Star Trek. Excellent idea, IMO.

And if we talk canon the Nova and Olympic are newer than the Intrepid, if we include book soft canon the Luna is too (Titan).

I still want a T5 Constitution refit. That ship is still awesome.

I love the NX-01 refit. I wish Enterprise didn't get cancelled. It may have sucked in earlier seasons, but it was just starting to get good when they cancelled it. It would have been awesome if that design got used.

i hope theyll give us a chance to make our own costumes and relate them to one of the etablished bo/shipsetups.

everyone has his/her own favorit ships. to implement ALL of them is nearly imposssible. this is not armada2 or such. the ships that are implemented until so far all have their place. either through special abilities or through new console/bo variations.

while i think more ships is alsways better than few, i think there much more important things at the moment than to implement even more ships (esp cruiser on fed side ^^)

but im sure theyll let us make our own costumes some day. (when they got enough money by selling shipscostumes via cstore ^^) cause most of the time i sit in my ship, and it can be very boring very soon, staring at the same ship all the time. so someday shipcostumization will catch char-customization.

but one thing they should do i think: get to gether those t5 skills for ships of a role. so we have just ONE t5 sci ship skill, not 2 ... it would enhance the game pretty much, if i could freely choose from the t5 and t5.5 ships of a role ( not sci/cruiser, but the different SCI ships) and dont have to pay 30k merits or tokens just for switching between dssV and recon.

That's the problem. Shows are not allowed to suck in the beginning. Firefly was really good and still got canceled, Crusade wasn't bad and getting better rapidly still, canceled. If it hadn't been a Star Trek show Enterprise would have been shut down after the first half of the first season. Because it was really bad.
