No. I was not a fan of the Prometheus initially, simply because of the MVAM and was happy when I found out that the feature had been disabled by Starfleet. Over time, I've come to love my Prometheus, so I've no interest in breaking my ship into multiple pieces and find the whole concept of the MVAM to be one of the more ridiculous ideas ever introduced into Star Trek, right up there with Interferometric radiation and holographic lungs.
For a moment I would like to point out the Irony that Escort lovers are always complaining "We don't have a Proper Escort besides the defaint." and here it is. the Prometheus MVAM is your new toy escort lovers.
I have never really minded extra uniforms or other things in the C-Store many of those items are fine being on sale. Exp items and other visual trinkets are fine. Abilities and ships should never have been in the C-Store. Cryptic had told us when STO was released that they would never put an item in the C-Store that would affect gameplay. At this point I would call a foul for that lie. However I don't want to bring up the C-Store preorder debacle.
With that being said we have been lied to. I don't believe intentionally but the Galaxy X, Excelsior Refit, and the Nebula are all ships that do add new elements to PvP/PvE. This was not supposed to be the original intent of the C-Store.
Unless it was just changed on tribble, its both now.

Recharge time is still 10 minutes, but set cooldown will be 5 minutes. Note, set cooldown starts as soon as you activate one of the 3 powers, so you effectively always have access to a MVAM power within 5 minutes, just not always the same one.

Reduced the amount of HP and Shield health you lose when entering MVAM.
Reduced HP and Shield on Pets - to compensate for the added HP and Shield to yourself, and also to make the pets more desirable targets in PvP.
When you enter MVAM, any ship targeting you will lose targeting on your for a brief moment, forcing them to find and reselect your ship. Additionally, your pets will now inherit your ship name in the HUD, to further confuse your foes in PvP (its not perfect. For instance, your pets donít display our captain's name, but we are working on making it better).
MVAM no longer disengages when you activate Mask Energy Signature or Ramming Speed.
When in MVAM, and one of your other MVAM powers become available, you will not be able to activate the other until you deactivate the first. This will prevent and ugly/weird graphical issues of your ship separating while it is still recombining.
Fixed/Updated some tooltips for MVAM powers and item.
That is partly why I think the cost should be a bit lower in terms of emblems and maybe cost to some extent, but that is just me.
Unless an entirely new ship is included that is not the same one that currently exists in the game, then I am willing to budge on my opinion somewhat.
Edit: Aight, it looks like there will be a new ship to go with the console with new BO stations and so forth, so the cost seems about right then since we are getting a ship to go with it that is different than the original and etc.
The info I was going on just had that it was a console and the emblem cost was going to be 500.
On the store front, Meh, while I have my issues on how tedious emblems are to get in game and how boreing the grind is in comparison to other MMOs when working to earn stuff, I have no problem with the store or the fact it is going to the store so long as there at least exists a way in game to get it so we do not even come close to the notion of in-game advantages are being sold and sold only.
