My guess is that they're not "jumping". Reman telekinetic blast power and a misplaced Repel shot will shoot an enemy into the sky. My character has been hit by just a Reman TK blast a few times, knocking me across a map before, and a Repel weapon will knock someone into the sky if you are kneeling. The odd thing is that I know that there are "walls" on the walkways (there are shadows at the corners... really nifty way to design a level, I might add ), so it may simply be a glitch in the physics simulation combined with the really odd way those two powers work.
Okay, let me put it this way: You are the leader of an Empire, and a race of despised second-class citizens mans a fleet and wreaks havoc on one of your planets together with one to five ships of your arch enemy. What would you do? She had to demonstrate strength, we have been messing up Romulan space way too long.
What Strength? As we know from the dialogue in Episode 1, Sela was basically sitting back and watching the Tal Shiar and the Remans go at eachother's throats.
And it just doesn't make sense she just suddenly decides to act, then get captured or saved to boot.

That's something we'll see when the Ambassador class is released.
Yes, we shall see. But to me this series storywise left too many gaps.

He had potential to be a major character with the Iconian storylines. And ever since people saw him with Borg Enhancements, we was hoping for a serious fight. Instead, he went out like a punk.

In PvP, if it stops an opponent just a few seconds, its more than enough. For an Escort caught without Omega or PH, they are good as dead if in the crosshairs of another escort.
And for BoPs, they are like flies in a spider web.
Hakeev got stuck on the ledge to the north of the big iconian gate for me- after a bunch of running around trying to find access, I ended up on the roof of the building to the northwest of the courtyard (where I go the access code from the officer). Purely by chance, I was standing right up against the south railing when I logged out and logged in, hoping to be at some earlier point in the mission to try again. Instead, I was still on the tall building, but on the OUTSIDE of the railing on the top ledge. From there I was able to run south along the western side of the building (to the left of the u-shaped decoration and straightening up) and jump to the lower ledge of the next building to the south- then I just followed the ledge south to the ledge/small stone bridge that leads across to the building Hakeev was stuck on. You can get around the flag barely on the right.
That's probably not very clear, but it's the best I can do! I had to do this for my Fed toon, and I checked again with my Klingon alt and it also worked. May save someone some frustration if it works again.
Hey Dstahl, could you please provde justification for the Mine reward? You still have not addressed the overall PvP NPC spamming issue. I give it a D overall for the horrible thought process regarding the reward for the week.
First couple of missions I noticed the Romulans and some of the Remans jumping up on ledges. If I helped the Remans kill the Romulans while they were on those ledges and on the ground might jump up to me while I was on the catwalk. Sometimes, the Romulans would die on the ledge and if they had a drop (once was a rare one) I could not reach it. Hakev the first time through stayed in the courtyard. The next three times he would jump up on the ledges overlooking the courtyard and I was afraid he might die up there I as I saw no way for my guy to get up there to talk to him. Fortunately, I could get him shooting at me and back off with my character and he would come down to the courtyard again. It is a bug and very well could cause a problem. Good to hear that Dstahl is aware of it and so I expect it will be fixed reasonably soon. Good episode though otherwise.
i have to agree in general that npc jumping is insanely over the top. at best, lifting yourself using your arms/hands, then climbing is more appropriate to most of the situations. i hope it gets looked into.
It's not just jumping. After my team chasing hakeev up a few ledges (they were doing some jumping as well) he was alone on the roof, healed, and then reappeared in the court yard. When I started to kill him again he jumped up on the first ledge at one end of the building and then literally flew (like I do in champions) from one end to the other at the same level, where he hid behind a pillar and eventually got reduced by my support team. Inaccessible of course... scenario failure.
Any chance you guys have been a little careless with borrowing code from champions online, devs? He didn't jump... he flew.
Cryptic is as dedicated to quality control as they are to fast response for customer problems: Not at all. However, they are fast to jump on the boards to defend themselves. if only they were working instead of patrolling the boards.
