I *always* roll with SciTeam 1, regardless of what ship I'm in, just to combat SNB.
ST1 is a minimum for most ships imo.

Ehh maybe considering the hit or miss problems with sci team and the chance effect it has. Sometimes it removes SNB sometimes not, sometimes it may remove a SS1 sometimes not. If I knew without a doubt that that my ST1 would work even 75% of the time I would slot it otherwise I rather have 2 TT

what i do is send a scramble to ships, then hit them with snb. they try and use sci team, get it re-targetted, and are stuck being scambled and buff-less. and i usually throw in a target subsystems too. this is a great combo for setting someone up for you teammates to annihilate.

also lets you throw a tricobalt at them too

O there is another "brilliant" idea

Now I know exactly why I'm not visiting this forum so often as before.

"The one thing about SNB I really would want changed is having it work only on Science Ships or Carriers."

And RSF cruiser only, and Alpha strike escort/raider only?

hmm.. why? When the SNB has hit, the damage is already done.... allyour buffs are gone and no ST will bring them back. So what if you get 30 seconds of increased cooldown... long as you can do a little running, you get over the worst of it. I barely find ST worth having even on my sci ships :p and I get along just fine without it.

As a Sci, I live and die by my buffs and debuffs. If I can't bring them to bear, I'm toast. Plus most of my buffs are doubled up, so I usually always have one ready or close to being ready after SNB hits.
