If it is, I will cancel my account. I haven't been playing at all for about 2 weeks now is that I am sick and tired of everything being in the C-Store with every new item in the game being in C-Store, or 500 emblems. Sorry, but grinding 500 emblems is NOT someting I want to do, and IS NOT fun.

So tell me now, is the Prometheus cost real money.

If it is, Good bye STO.

I have been playing you since Closed Beta, but now unfortunately it's time to put away the uniform.

As has already been confirmed the MVAM will be available for either 1200 ATs or 500 Emblems.

Well thank you for the answer.

Cryptic, you made a great game. But unfortunately I do not have the money to further continue.

Thanks for all the great times!

The Prometheus and its two design sisters, the Cerberus and Pheonix, are a class of escorts that you can purchase with an in-game token once you reach the rank of Rear Admiral in game. They are not C-store items. The Hephestus, however, is a C-Store ship and you will need to purchase Atari tokens for it.

i believe the op meant the mvam(multi vector assault mode) console that cane be used on prometheus ships and their variants.

it is not a reason to leave the game though.

Quitting because you don't want to grind or pay for the separation of the Prometheus? She's such a beautiful ship, why would you want to cut her up at all?

The two most heard quotes in nerdraging posts:

"If I don't get X then I will quit this game."

and

"I have been playing since Closed Beta."

Sorry you feel this way. However, it takes man hours to make these things for us to enjoy. Man hours cost money. With a small team and a limited budget, they are doing the best they can with what they've got.

500 emblems is not that big of a deal. I know people won't agree with that statement, but to each their own. I see no problem working hard in the game for a great piece of equipment. People need to stop this "you owe me X because I pay a monthly fee" crap. It's not going to change. Everyone has/does pay their dues here. No one is out to screw you.

If you feel that the MVAM is not worth the time to grind or the money in the C-Store, then go without it. It won't kill you.

i never really want to see anybody leave, but leaving because your not prepared to pay or work for something that you never had before, is largely a gimmick and is only being added because of the existence of the c-store is odd.

if there was no c-store im almost certain this would have been a very low priority and not been made for years, if ever.
