Ya know, if we did this, two things would happen:

A: A LOT of players would be very, very happy

B: Those same players would spend a LOT of time on the Bridge :p

C: One wealthy Ferengi when the franchise opens.
Is it just me have the Orion women ( as the sexuality) miss out on the chance to all retire wealthy thanks to thier inate seduction and the number of Strips Clubs Earth has on it?

Funniest thing is that in the end Cryptic won't give a damn. STO for them is for "casual players", read: PvE.

So PvE will always come first, and PvP will always suffer from PvE-imported garbage (see: scorpion fighters, tractor mines, etc.).

P.S.: Roach I never took part in any whining/trolling competition, this might be my 6th or 7th post in 5 months of playing so don't place the Whiner's Buff on me, I'm immune

By the way, imho STO got it all reversed. In Star trek series/films klingons always had weak shields and tough hulls, whereas Federation ship had tougher shielding and weak hulls...

Yes, you can trade and/or sell them to the other faction. However, you can only use (commission or train from) those from your own faction. So a Fed could have a full list of Orion Slave Girls in the assignments column, but that's it.

And one thing that I absolutely cannot understand: If Klingons were truly overpowered because of their ships, then why are there no players out there who want to win? Just leave your federation ships behind, get into the op BOPs, put dual heavies on your cruisers and start winning on a regular basis against TSI, RE and all the other good fed fleets.

Even QEW, who have an extremely good setup are not dominating all fed premades. Tough fights that can go either way yes, certain win for the Klingons no.
To be fair we only ever lost to TSI. I mean like, since weve been playing, weve only ever lost to TSI (random garbage setups and joke fleets excluded).

I feel against TSI (proper setup, not your random players) it can go either way, which is enough to show the balance between factions. But we havent run into each other in a while, i think both teams have had a bit of a break...

Voyager is a great ship, couse her turnrate, but not so good. It's great for science spam... I used voy for 8 month i change just for this mvae so i feel i can say i know well that ship. (i loved her in all torpedo build so much....uuuuu <3 <3 )

But can you find me a cruiser in fed who can equip cannon? And can you find me a ship (without mvae) can do one of BOP build?

Now things are really balance imho. Klingon can equip more cannon and can use hit & run tactics better than fed (battle cloack rules) ; and fed has better science ship (but, not unique) and now an escort who can compete with the bop.
Oh, I'm not saying I'm invincible. Far from it, I'm usually the first to go down/the one that goes down the most :p

Technically all Fed ships can equip Single Cannons, but you're right, none can use DHCs. But even the Vor'Cha needs at least 1 Aux to ID to make DHCs viable.

No Fed ship can truly emulate a BoP, but there are tons of other viable options. All of the "hybrid" ships are quite good at what they do; D'Kyr, Excelsior, and the Nebula. Feds get stronger hulls and shields as well as having more ship options. The only Klingon ship that outshines it's Fed counterpart is the Negh'Var.

Yes you are right.

I have post somewhere klinghy need definitely 1 more sci-oriented ship...but i think this ship has to be little less Sci than voyager and other sci-fed ship and a bit more Dps to be perfect for klinghy (and still be in canon, a thing really important for me).
