In Star Wars you have to use a small moon or gigantic space city to destroy a planet. In Star Trek you can destroy a planet with something the size of Captain Kirk. And you can do an even more thorough job of it with something the size of a rabbit turd.

and blows up in 1 torpedo hit.... I mean their shields are not excistant their weapons bounce of our shields. Seriously a type 8 shuttle would blow that thing off with a 10 year old at the controls.

Even as a kid the Excelsior was my favorite and that only changed after I got tired of commanding one for months. Now I'm digging my Star Cruiser (space whale).

Who knows, maybe someone will put together a mission to do exactly this.

Only after long drawn out battle and being bombarded by half the Rebel fleet did its shields start to fail and its main bridge was destroyed. Did I say it was invincible? No. Any ship can loose a battle over a drawn out fight. They do have shields in Star Wars and no their weapons donít bounce of Star Trek shields. But thatís an argument I wonít get into, this thread is about ones favorite ship class. If I have to choose one from Star Trek it would be this.
