I have been a fan of video games and trek for many years now, and as excited as i was to play this game when it first came out, i have found myself disgusted with the lack of development or effort put forward by the publisher and the dev studio that is responsible for upholding the legacy of star trek. The lack of endgame content , the lack of balance is killing this game, please head the words of your fans, but more importantly for those who you turned away or lost due to the lack of polish on this game. If you do not make serious changes to this game it will be just another mmo that goes free to play, just another reference in a gamespot article mentioning a good idea that failed while gamespot reviews the next big mmo, I beg of you please do not let that happen.

I know this has been suggested before, but it really would be nice to have a "host" feature for PvP matches. Not from the standpoint of running a server side instance on client system, but just the ability for anyone to create matches with any one of the available PvP maps and objectives, along with the ability to control all gear and abilities allowed. Obviously this would require a whole new UI for PvP, since we would need a real match browser able to handle an arbitrary number of matches, and a search UI to mirror all of the choices available for setting up the match.

But overall I think it would be a huge shot in the arm for PvP, if people could set up a match that was all type 8 shuttles; or only escorts; or (the obvious ones) where all forms of pet spam were disabled; etc. With this ability, I don't think the active PvP community would have a hard time at all coming up with all sorts of fun and popular match formats.

This is a great idea kind of like the foundry for pvp. I take part in the KT league and this would be great to this league and any other pvp tournaments brought to you by the players. I see something like the pvp challenge not just allowing to invite player and control what players are on what team, but control a timer, weapons types, shield, deflector, etc. This way in some tournaments leagues or whatever you would like to call them the founders can say no agis set or no Borg set and when new special devices come out if the league so wishs they can regulate what’s allowed and what’s not.

Giving out Emblems specifically for ground will also help fill the ground queues again. People hunting for their 500 Emblem Tier 5 ship need everything they can get.

Nothing mutually exclusive.
I'd suggest changing the ground damage and healing values to reflect the damage and healing ground characters are more realistic to be able to accomplish.

1. I'd like a Space map where mixed faction teams can fight each other. Later, I'd like it to expand to a PvP Sector Block or two where one would be faction based and another would be free for all (I'd let writers fill in the blanks as far as why it would make sense something like a Voyager Maquis v Fed thing maybe). I'd like one or both of those Sectors to have a "dilithium" drain on ships. While in that sector space dilithium would need to be replenished or the ship systems shut down. This would give something to compete over and would isolate its reason to be needed to those sectors. I would go on, but would prefer things brief for now.

2. I'd like ground to include 1v1 plus boffs matches.

3. I'd like mixed faction Bar Brawls (no kits/weapons/captain's abilities/trait abilities) on some neutral planets for lols.

Well, roughly speaking, ground HP is about 1/50th of space HP, so dividing all the ground numbers by that multiple would be in the ballpark. Say 50K healing or damage for ground matches might be about right.

A new variant of Capture and Hold.

The Defending Team, (blue. cause you know. Red's OP ) as to maintain their dominance over at least 3 out of 5 points for a given length of time. (say 15 minutes)

While the Storming Team, has to break the hold of the Defending team, and drive them back.

There could be special bonuses for holding specific points on the map for the Defending and Storm teams. Like say for example having your ship at the Shipyard grants you a boost to hull and shield healing abilities.

Sensor, array boosts cloak detection, and Sensor related skills (such as Target Subsystems, and Sensor scan)

The Storm Team, on the other hand, could get things like Damage boosts, movement boosts etc.

Once the time expires the winning team, gets an additional 3 emblems, another 50k EC, and 450 merits.
