I just d/l the demo to try out STO, but once I log in, I can see the HUD, but I cant see whats going on. Even to create a character I didnt see what/ or who I was creating, but I saw the choices fine (HUD). Need help! I really want to give this game a try!

graphic card: HIS ATI Radeon HD 6950

I run other games awesome, currently playing Crysis 2, and it runs perfect. So it leads me to believe an issue
with the game or maybe with D/L?
I've already fooled around with the video settings of the game and still, I see nothing just some faint light, not
even movement of my character.

Could you post a screenshot to show us what you are seeing?

i am getting the same problem. installed the full version and reactivated account. reinstalled on a new computer i built with a 6970 video card and i can see ship names char names the hud but i cant seee any graphics period. no actual ships no characters no station walls.

Update the solution is turn off post processing got mine up and going.

If you look at the thread below you can see if the pictures and video's match what you see.

In this thread we are still waiting for a fix as well and we also believe it is on the software side.
