No, it's just takes about 45 seconds to make a mission like Yum or bobbb and a fairly major investment to make a mission like the spotlight missions. There was already one passable mission called Encounter last I looked through. Not a really good mission, but at least better than running dailies.

Even the most prolific mission writers on tribble weren't putting out missions this fast - give them at least until tomorrow and more realistically a week for enough to be there to bury the spam missions.

Unfortunately, authors will soon come to realise the only true limitation of the foundry.

You can only make 8 missions. No more.

Just slap a filter system in and that problem goes away
You can filter it via a custom search.

I am looking forward to playing around with it. I think it's great that Cryptic allows players to be so creative and expressive in their games. I can't think of any other MMO that lets people make their own levels.

One thing I am noticing is at least one, otherwise good mission, with some major boff pathing issues (boff's getting stuck in otherwise normal corridors, not following, etc,) and there may be others. So the question is, is this inherent in the foundry system or is this going to be mission specific (don't want to give negative feedback on something that's outside of the mission creators control?)

The Foundry is live.... and people are already skipping over quest text and finding themselves unable to find the doors mentioned in the quest text. :p

I have some Performance issues with Map Testing. As soon as i place more then in or two Details in a Space Map my Client Crashes while it tries to Load the Map.

The holodeck Client Runs on Maximum Details though... Might this Be a Problem?

Oh... And if that Forum is the wrong Place for that Kind of questions ... Please Point me in the right direction

8 missions that's indeed an limit if you are wanting to make a series that's is successful.
But does cryptic still place good content over to holodeck normal play ???
Or is that out off the picture ?
