All this talk and mention of Ten Forward history and community make me want my old forum name back so badly. I agree with Hort. I miss my _. And my larger bus avatar. And my old join date. And a bunch of other things the forced merger tool away without warning. Signature with all my info in it is all that's left of 3 years of an identy in Ten Forward I built up as Captain_Zero.

Make me wish I'd tossed out the question "Since we can change our forum tiles to the 'Career Officer' one linked to our Cryptic accounts of we have an LTS, why can't the same idea be implemented to allow us to display as our @handle names?"

We'll have to remember that for the next "Ask Cryptic".

I'm guessing the reason we can't use our @hangle names is because we will lose those eventually also. With PWE's take over, it's their customers first and we're just the ones that have to adapt. Think of it like being in coach on an airplane for Cryptic and PWE is first class. Those in first class will always get the better treatment. The same applies for Cryptic as a company. Eventually, the stupid will be ripped apart, rolled into PWE fully, and probably become a storage room or sold off for some extra money. With that, some will be out of a job but there are some staff at Cryptic I think are a waste of financial resources anyway. Trim the fat and keep the good stuff! Guys like Stahl, Geko, tacofangs, and many others have nothing to worry about in my opinion. Things like PR though, I'm sure PWE has their own staff for that.

Just leaving this here... My best score so far. F-Sim has been available on Android since August 13th 2012 although I hadn't noticed until yesterday.

I doubt we will lose our @handles. I think they're far to engrained in the STO software in order to be removed.

I'm not very fond of smart phones, make calls and be a pocket watch, that's all I really need...

Do you do the full turn one on 33 or the half a turn on 15? I have only had one disasterous crash on the full turn so I do much better at crashing on the turn that's more of a bank. Are Space Shuttles supposed to do barrel rolls?! At least I'm starting to get better.

Try the other runway in the options. It's only half the turn whcich I think helps. I'm just waiting for you to post a score better than mine to make me go at it again.

Tomorrow brings another new Starbase Special Project. The KDF banners look nice but I don't know if it's worth $20. The history of the Enterprise though is a very nice touch. Lets hope it looks as good as it sounds.
