Lol Beagles, the 30 second global is only for two of the *same type* of target subsystems. *Different* types only have a 15 second global. You can chain three of them perfectly, and when you're invested heavily into it, why wouldn't you maximize that investment? Drain the weapons of a tac FAW boat, the engines of an escort, and the aux of a sci-intrepid

I believe that the split DPS should be decreased and I like the idea of giving it a longer cool down (45 seconds). Dropping Scatter Volley down a level might be a nice move. Right now it is just too good with too few consequences. I've enjoyed the reduction in spam as a result of the change but fixing a broken skill with a broken skill is in my opinion, and I could be way off here, probably not the best solution.

But we've said all of this before it went live and it didn't matter then either. Oh well.

So how did FAW go for you guys in that fight? Can you recall?

I was the only one using FAW 2 in that match, in an Intrepid-R running 99/75 weapon power with 5 beams to full aux and 48/25 power. All though it had less to do with FAW in all 5 ppl using it, but to see its use from those who were using it.
I know Kern was using it as i was chasing him round a few times.

Did it give you damage increase? From looking at the screenshot i can see 4 of you had 500k plus near 600k mark while we had 2 above 600k...both being escorts. We did have more healing due to the damage, but that can be expected with Raptor-BoP strikes. {6.2 Million to 4.5 Million} Yes, the ABH was very helpful and was surprised that PSW wasn't spammed at all as much it was in the past....but ABH did give me 3 escapes of death while allowing me to use my sci powers the whole time.
Did you guys use mines much? {i only ask cus i was more concerned with targeting and healing and target acquisition not how spammed the area was.}
I know you used the Kharfi and was using FAW to eradicate your pets....was it effective to a degree?

If that's true, it sounds like you won the match in large part due to using Intrepids while we had no strong counters, and even less because of FAW. If even you had been in another science ship we would have had three more for sure kills and gained more initiative. Nerf ablative :p

No mines at all to my knowledge. If someone was using mines, that will be something to be fixed. And yes, the FAW is very good at pet control, although the Khar'fi still has other uses and a great boff layout.

didiwin?

Subsystem targeting is rather quaint unless you have a well specced level 2/3 subsystem target AND the enemy has a lack of Eng teams and/or batteries.

Unless, of course, you're in a sci ship, in which case, use it because its there. (unless it interferes with your FaW )
