Hey guys I dont know If this has been posted already.

Ive been using the foundry for a little while now to play around but I havent made anything worth submitting untill it hit Holodeck and now that it has there is a Ground maps I would like to see a Flat map with city type textures on the floor. For one of my mission's i would like to Create a city But doing this with the current available maps is difficult to say the least.


I'm currently creating a map by suspending foundation blocks in the air about 100 meters up how ever I am having issues with falling throught ( annoying realy).

If any of the guys incharge of the maps or art assests read this please think about creating just a simple flat map with a basic texture on the floor so that missions like this would be possible.

The whole Map on the Screenshots for my Mission "Wolfsjagd" (it's in German... my english is not good enough for a mission...) took me about a week to move into the right "heights"

The Blocks are the right idea, but you have to adjust every component to the right Y Position.

The Foundry takes always the Y0 for the height of something so even if a building like in the pictures is only a few metres besides another, and the ground beneath the "Structure Block" is only a tiny different you will have to adjust the height...

Believe me it is real work, a lot of loading and exiting the map but it is worth the while in my opinion.

Yeah im having to do the Y axis every time Its working so far just lucky im not in a hurry to publish the mission would still be nice if the dev's could give us some flat maps to make this easier.
