Per the recent forum rules update we will be able to use images in our forum signatures. Show off your mad skills by uploading your sig image to a host site (Photobucket or ImageShack) and linking here.
Mine is a work in progress, as I have three characters I play. My two Feds are in different fleets, and my KDF general is unfleeted at the moment. Keep in mind I did this in about five minutes using some images I already had saved, and a program called GIMP. It's free, and has almost as many features as Photoshop.
I'm assuming there are size restrictions, right? Please say there are.
Yes, there are. Behold:
Signatures are limited to five lines of text, including blank lines, or an image that must be no larger than 500x150 pixels and 50Kb in size. Images must be in .jpg format. The text in the signature may be customized by the BBCode in use on the forums. It is recommended that you stick with readable fonts and colors and that the size is not too large. You may mention websites and ventures that you are in some way related to, as long as they are otherwise appropriate for the community. Avatars are limited to 100x100 pixels, or 19.6 KB (whichever is smaller). No Animated images will be allowed. Strong political and religious sentiments should be kept out of profiles, signatures, and other content in this community. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in an infraction, and the removal of the offending signature or avatar.
Thank you for letting me know it was by Kaden, that runabout has been the vehicle of my space fantasies for a couple years now - I think of it as larger than a runabout though and acts in the role of a courier or a Star Trek "Concord" here are a couple of links to more of his stuff.
