My fellow members of the KDF.

I would like to begin planning a KDF pvp event for the end of april.

The event will be a pvp tournament to allow the many small fleets of the KDF and it's allies to battle one another for the glory of our faction.

the tournament is in it's planning stages, please add suggestions or if you would like to help in the technical aspect I would appreciate it.

the current plan is a 4v4 format, with 2 neutral judges cloaked to provide exploit protection and hopefully live streaming.

I am not sure how many teams we can put together, if there isn't enough we could move to a 2v2 or 3v3 format.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Given enough time as well as a good enough time, I can get a group of legion to join the tourney. We will donate our winnings to the Federation orphan fund.

This sounds fun! Someone could make a Foundry Mission to help explain the feud between the Houses. Hmm...a dispute over territory, supporting a Great Houses attempt to seize control over the Empire or maybe something regarding an issue over honor.

On top of this, I would love to see a planned Bat'leth tournament. Perhaps the winner would get a nice Bat'leth? Could be organized by tiers. Even if I didn't fight, I would totally watch it!

I wonder if the Devs would help with making a real event?

I think we aren't going to see much dev involvement for this, they have got a lot on thier plate at the moment.

However if we can scrape together 8 teams the plan will be to record the battles and hopefully have some commentary.

I love the foundry mission Idea, it would be a great way to promote the tournament.

I'll set to work on it, I was working on a pretty expansive Klingon mission anyways, and the maps will fit well.

hmm I just realized we can make the tournament trophy in the foundry, and people can go in and visit it any time.

count me in for the bat'leth tournament. if you can get a specific date/calender for all the events it would work nicely, perhaps i can get a team from ROTF to join.

Not sure yet but WoG can mostly field 5 member fed and klingon. Let me tell my fleet mates about it. Is there any sign up area?
