please? I want a T5 ship that has a TOS aesthetic

Another T5 Connie thread?

Sigh. There are plenty of T5 TOS ship request threads. Please do not start another one. The more threads about this topic that pop up, the less likely it will happen due to the mods getting tired of having to close so many.

I don't see the phrase "T5 Connie" in the OP anywhere, folks. What this person is clearly asking for is skins inspired by the TMP-era aesthetic.

all i was asking for is a T5 ship costume inspired by the original series like a nice looking "battleship" of that era (since ST:III establish the constitution was at that time a heavy cruiser there must be a battleship too), so it looks like it came it of either 2260s or 2280s hopefully an original design for both, i started this since im opposed to the t5 connie idea

last year this time cryptic was pumping out ship costumes none of which i like, would like a T5 inspired by the original series for my interiors (kelvin exists in the prime universe....)

sorry for the thread, wont be posting on the forums again lest someone dies foaming from the mouth from a heart attack because of me voicing my innocent idea

We already have a half dozen if not more threads talking about everything from T5 Connie to TOS aesthetic set pieces and everything in between. This isn't anything new or unique, and will probably end up getting locked like several have been already.

TOS is my favorite Trek Series, but a tier 5 Connie just won't work. The Excelsior...yes because it was upgraded for the dominion war and seems to be more durable and versatile.

The Constitution Class was launched in the 2240s with the original Enterprise launched in 2245. 50 years later, the Excelsior Class replaced the Constitution class as Starfleet's main ship while the Connie was decommissioned.

Can you blame us for thinking it's another T5 Connie thread when so many popped up in the last few days?

Second,I resent the 'abused dog' remark......I'm a shark,and the only time I jump is.....out of water to catch me a chunky swimmer of the California coast.Sharky just loves 'fastfood'.

Hoestly, IF they are doing a TOS-inspired T5 ship... it should be the Connie. Any other form that time would be as datet as the conie, just not the "original design".... (and it doesnt make sense to build a functionally ship just LOOKING like a 300 years old design. Can you imagine an aircraft carrier, build for serious combat but for nostalgic reasons LOOKING like a pirates-of-the-caribean-ship?)

They should make a T5 Constitution or nothing.

See heres the thing about all the military comparisons

1) It's a game.

2) Starfleet Admirals and Captains pretty much do what ever the hell the want if they have enough political clout so yeah I can see that happening and yes someone's character would likely have enough of this at Rear Admiral rank to pull it off (didn't you know once you get box pipes know will ever question you again.)

3) Again It's a game

4) The TOS Connie, NX-class, and D'kry ships in game are already examples of this it's just that none of you want to admit this as it kills the it 100 or 200 years old argument.
