Yesterday I was looking for 'Dead in Space' by Eurrsk (magnificent mission btw), and instead I found 'Dead In Space' (dont remember the author) with a capital I.

Despite this mission being annoying and zergtastic, it had one very nice feature that I'd not seen before: There were green text messages sliding in, used as non-modal dialog popups. The same text you see when you get skill points, when new respawn points are unlocked, when you scan for anomalies, etc...

The first room you walk into it pops up with something like 'This doesn't look good, captain.' Its nice because it gives flavour to the mission, but doesnt disrupt the flow of combat.

How do you do this in the foundry?

On reach markers in the story tab it says something like reach text. you type in what you want and when your character walks into the area, the text appears.

I've mostly ignored that feature. For my stories it serves no purpose.
