Sometimes get this when loading a space map with a maximum number of ships as objects in Foundry.

Video Card is 2xATI 5850 1GB (in crossfire).


Error Ticket: 11475773

I don't think that's a bug. I think you're running out of video memory because it's trying to draw too many things.

I'd suggest following the advice given -- turn down your graphics quality and/or try closing other applications that are using your graphics card.

I have crossfire 6970's with 2GB of memory each, running on win7 64-bit. I also have 12GB of ram in my PC. I also get an out of video memory crash once in a while. Pretty safe to say that it is a bug, although turning down graphics settings will probably still help for obvious reasons.

Since today's patch I have been crashing to desktop without any error message ONLY when doing ground combat in Foundry missions.....Resting Raptors is the mission. Does not happend on non-Foundry ground combat missions. Noticed CPU usage was way up compared to "normal" Cryptic ground missions. I have posted this in the Tech section.
