That "floodgate" was not about game content as in missions. You are taking it out of context. At the time the Klingon community was hungry for ship information and any tidbits about Klingon gameplay at all.

The gate was opened, and out came that while feds got Cruisers, Science Ships and Escorts, Klingons would be getting Cruisers, Raiders, Bird of Preys and at tier 5 a Carrier. So a shipclass more. Also in this revealing time came the news that Klingons would be pvp only, to the chagrin of Klingon players such as myself.

But, Jackalope did keep his promise. its just easy to miss-understand.

you know, we all are aware of the state the KDF is in, I wonder If it's time we stopped returning to posts from last year, debating the same things over and over and started channeling that energy towards making our own Klingon content.

we have the foundry now, we have pvp challenges, I say we boycott FVK until we get some solid content and just do KVK pvp and create our own robust community.

I have to disagree. Consider he Said Game play. That to me is missions, uniforms and ship. We told in beta that klingon would be a full faction. There not.

Consider the post was made two days into Open beta. When people know how lacking the klingons where. There hardly much better 14 months later. So Like i said 500 days and waiting for those flood gates to open.

Game Play doesn't necessarily mean pve content and that there will be tons of options. They did reveal back then that Klingons would be almost purely pvp. Pvp is game play as well. So I disagree that Jackalope's promise concerns pve content.

During beta, they never promised lots of Klingon pve content. Jackalope's floodgates did open. Lets just agree to disagree.

That said, I am truly eager for new pve content to appear

Can't wait for season 4.

Yes we have to agree to disagree.

I to would like to see what season 4 will bring. I just hope it better then what we gotten to date.

Heck, I'm excited about the changes planned for The homeworld s a start. It looks rich and that means a better playground to set some KDF foundry missions as well ... might even o build on our culture a bit.

Don't understand why you guys keep arguing over statements made a year ago about the KDF, seriously let it go.

Worry about the KDF now, not last year.

If they said pvp only back then or not doesn't make any difference now because we have PVE, just not enough of it.

Every time we try and get a discussion going about KDF and making it better the same people crash the thread arguing with each other over those statements, derail any real discussion and the cycle repeats.
