Actually, i don´t like the Oberth. That does not mean it´s a bad ship And instead of complaining about it, i´m looking forward to other stuff like the Fan Enterprise ( maybe i´ve missed it - but shouldn´t it be announced these days? ).
These implementations only make sense for me to play free.
The new ship can remain in the C-Store.
With all that I can do on these ships and make STO a waste of time.
It seems like you give the children candy.
You talk about accuracy in detail, etc. ..
Stark Trek world has a frontier scene of many episodes .. where in this game?
Oberth .. No thanks.

I hope that the concept is clear English is not my native language
I ... almost understoon some of that. Time to lay off the allergy meds, apparently.
The pricing is fine, its in line with the other T1 ships.
The console is interesting as a continuation of the 'modular special ability' tech that the Devs are playing with, although I think the global cooldown is a bit high.
The Oberth is a very novel ship, in terms of design, and holds a special place in my heart from my earliest ST fandom days with the Starfleet fan organization.
Its a nice little ship, I just got the first place troph at star base 24 with my Lt, I had a tough run of it though had to try 3 times, was short by 200 then 20 points of first place...Its a good little ship, I like it. I want a captain rank oberth now you can leave out the phasing technology, I dont want to do get stuck in any asteroids
I have said it before I think that the 2nd yr anniversary these ships will be free and selectable at the start so you dont have to fly the miranda. Why you ask? because its a great way to show noobs the diversity of star trek online, give them ship choice instead of sitting there at the miranda. In the mean time they got your money to cover development costs then they give anyone who got it some reward...maybe the console gets upgraded or maybe the console becomes limited edition to who ever bought it...

This is correct, though I forget where it was mentioned by a Dev. At some point in the future, the NX Replica, the TOS Constitution, and the Oberth will be the new starter vehicles. The Devs just make it available -now- for the people who were demanding it, that's all. You don't want to buy it? Then don't. At some point you will get it for free.
But when it comes time to getting any of these Ships, you need to think about something else. Once they become available as the starter vehicles, what will happen to them in the C-Store? Will they remain? Become cheaper? Or disappear all together? If the first two options happen, then it's no big deal. However, if the third happens then you will be missing out on two devices and two weapons that can be moved to any ship (Yes, the NX Replica's Grappler is going to become a Device). So, don't buy it if you don't want, you will eventually get it for foree. Or.. Don't buy it and possibly miss out on a decent cooldown. Who knows, whatever you guys want to do.
I honestly don't condider an item like a ship or a console 'content' in that sense. new content is something that you can play through or an entire new game system (like the upcoming Doff system.) It is what it is - a (currently 'pay to play with') item.
The Oberth is new content, even if you don't agree with it. That being said, just wait till Season 4 when we will have an array of new Starships that will be in game (and not in the C-Store), over 800 new missions (According to a Dev from a Podcast), two new ranks (Admiral and Fleet Admiral), and loads of other things.
The only reason you see them adding in things to the C-Store right now is because all of these Ships that are coming out now are doing is filling in gaps. We had a T0/1 Escort and Cruiser, so we needed a Science. We have a Commander level Excelsior and Nebula (As well as a VA Retrofit for both) so don't be suprised to be a new Commander/VA level Escort come in to fill that gap (There are possibilities on this already).
The point is that new content -is- on the way, and it goes by the name of Season 4.
I'm all for new content for starters c-store items or not i don't see why all new ships etc have to be RA and above. It's just sad that there is no Oberth style bridge to go with the ship all the bridges I've tried so far seem out of place
If you don't like the ship, don't buy it. No need to flame the company. Remember they are just doing their job, trying to earn a living to support their family, just like the rest of us.
We are paying Cryptic for the "experience." Just like buying a movie ticket for the "experience" of watching a movie, or buying an "E Ticket" to enjoy the latest ride in Disneyland (you know you are old if you remember the E tickets at Disneyland)
This is how entertainment industry works.
No one is forcing you to buy the ship or go to Disneyland.
