I just find it amazing people seem to think my enjoyment should be less simply because I do not PVP.

Frankly I enjoy play the game on normal after a long work week or after a hard day. Mindless blowing away NPC bad guys. When I want a challenge. I increase the difficultly slider. People play this game for different reasons. Just because something not fun for you those not mean it not fun for others.

they need to release a single player version of this game. OR: open up the pve areas this guy is fighting in so i can tricobalt him

Well first of(f) the nerf was not need for PVE. Secondly that is know(now) 2/5 less dps and 2/5 less damage (being) sucking up. Far more(take more out) less fun then when I had five come out in v factor. Now I get only 3 instead of the 5 I (am) use to.

There i tried to make your post readable please try and write more clearly and as i have said its an mmo nerfs and buffs are part of the game and you'll need to learn to deal with that. And if you cant this might not be the game for you.

I love when people use the argument 'It'll affect my PvE play!" Honestly, I've never noticed any affect on my ability to PvE when ever they put these changes in. Some of the complaints sound a bit ridiculous anyway. If lowering the number of Scorpion fighters deployed really has THAT big an impact on your DPS and defense, sounds like you need to rethink your build. I played around with the scorpion fighters for a little while, and half the time they never stuck around long enough to do any real damage! I never even use tractor beam for any reason, never use mines, so I never touched tractor beam mines. Fighting the Romulans, with all their changes, is still a joke even with them using them. Tractor mines out, ok, stay away. Oops, too close one has me, target and destroy, move on.

In PvP, however, these abilities were spammed not even necessarily for what they do, but to clutter the daylights out of the field, lagging out some people and making targeting very difficult for others. Cryptic's answer: Rework FaW. And it solved the spam problem... but created another, and one that has NO bearing on your ability to PvE.

As a PvE player who occasionally PvPs, I am in full agreement that FaW needs to be fixed. There is absolutely no reason for this ability to work as it presently does. Honestly, the old way worked fine, maybe with the current spam issues increase the firing rate a little more. Or if you want the multiple beams per array, cut the damage output of each beam in half. Maybe let it go to 60% for each beam, but that's iffy.

As far as PvE goes, FaW is halfway useless anyway. Most of the space fights are 1 on 1, and even against frigate or fighter groups it's faster to take them out one at a time. Incoming plasma torpedo? Shoot it! If it hits, that's what Hazard Emitters is for.

Bottom line, FaW needs to be addressed and fixed. You made things work before it got where it is, you'll figure it out after.

Is THAT what cryptic gets as "feedback" in PvE forums?

So, if I decide to run Khitomer Accord ALONE on a Miranda T1 with Dual Heavy Cannons Mk I white and call it "my game style and fun", can I spam the PvE forums with "PvP ruining my gameplay! My Miranda got NERFED!"?

Hmmm my recent experience capping an Eng Alt on Faw cruiser tells a different story.

By the time an escort takes down 1 single medium-sized NPC ship wasting a RF1 and a HY1, a single FaW 2 Cruiser would have taken down 3 of those same ships without even bothering to keep facing the targets. PvE space missions are always like "kill X groups of enemies", and BFaW on cruiser is a FREE 300% XP Boost: less time, less effort, more kills.
