# 1 Group NPC Conversations
04-04-2013, 12:09 PM
I have an odd question regarding how people function within a group.

When you're in a group, how do you handle NPC conversations during a mission? Does each group member read the conversation, or is it divided up somehow?

If it is divided, does that mean some of them won't get to complete the mission since they weren't the one selecting replies. And what would happen if two people each selected a different option from the chat box.

It seems like when one person concludes the conversation, the box is closed for everyone but I can't tell if the quest is progressed.

The mission gets progressed for all characters, even if they didn't get to finish reading or answer the NPC. Some missions bug out though, and depending on how fast others blow through the mission dialogue, can bug the mission progression for everyone.

you could tell the other guys in the group to slow down for you so you can finish reading whatever the NPC garbled at you. Alternatively, you can check your NPC dialogue tab but you'd have to wade though every single bit of NPC dialogue between then and now.
