I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but has anyone mentioned any plans to produce text-only dialog boxes that don't require a contact costume?

What about dialog boxes for interacting with objects you can talk to (or type on)?

Invisible contacts you can't see (but can still interact with)?

I'm working on a non-combat ship-based Foundry mission that would have benefited from any of the above, but they just aren't there.

Something along the lines of a text-only dialog, what about a "narrative" box? Foundry authors could use narrative boxes to display things like Captain's Logs and first and third person narrative.

We've been requesting this for a long time now. Whether when reading a console or a tricorder, players really need a neutral or generic costume. We don't have them, and the best that we can do is use a ship as the costume.

It's too bad.
