Are we close to being able to set paths? I want to be able to put ships on the map and have them move on set paths. Cargo convoys moving to a base from point a, your ship entering at point b, enemy cruiser moving to intercept you from point c, enemy frigates moving to the cargo ship from point d, the base launching runabouts to engage the frigates , and everything moving from its starting point to it's target or target area.

I want to be able to weight the cargo ships to have getting to the base as a priority so that if they stop being fired on because the runabouts have engaged the frigates they resume pathing to the base. I'm hoping we will be able to do that eventually.

This is really something I look forward to. Imagine, you could also create scenarios, where you have to destroy enemies in time, before the next one shows up, or escorting missions, like the one where you have to escort this "princess" or something through Klingon squadrons, or the one where you have to escort a Vulcan ship.

I really think this is something the Foundry needs!

Convoy protection and raiding, real avoiding patrols, trying to complete a task before reinforcements arrive are some of the things it could be used for. Sneaking past guards on the ground, or being able to ambush them as they patrol, stuff like that.
