Some of you guys need to loosen up. There are more things in life to get bent out of shape about than emergency maintenance on STO for about an hour.[/QUOTE

ohh noez the alledegly half finished daboo minigame.....I forgot it ruined the game for me. Placing bets on random numbers was just such a big element of the game for me and the rewards sucking soo much was too much pain to bare.

Ok, so the server had to be taken down and people are complaining.

To those people, consider this. They kept the server up and you all got to keep that1 hour playtime. Or would you. You get in game, start blasting away and then BAM. Desktop here we come. The forums would be in upraor over the game crashing.

What would you rather have, Cryptic telling you its coming down so they can fix it quickly. Or, wait for it to break and have it take a lot longer to fix.

I know which option I would take.

Selaphiel,

Would you be willing to tell us what happened? Just curious.. was it an overload from people trying to sign into to see Q, an unforeseen bug, or did Q really get stuck on the LA freeway? LOL

I would consider this a valid argument if the sale and events only took place today or over a few hours. However, it does not; its across the whole weekend to allow for odd times where busy people can log on.

I wish my life was easy enough where I could get upset over my MMO undergoing emergency maintenance for an hour.

Sometimes I think people look for reasons to get angry or offended.

Okay, a lot of the time I think that.
