the science ships in the game do not have thick enough hulls the tier5 hulls strength is only around 27,000. also I think they should make ships with multiple slots for shields and engines, it would be cool if I could put two different kinds of shields or engines or even three kinds of shields on one ships it would make things more challenging and more interesting what do you guys think?

The hull strenght on a sci ship is just fine,they have a bonus to shields. The ability to slot more than one shield would make the game unbalanced.

It's a dumb request.
You can't put two different engines with different specs on a ship or anything else. The ship will jut perform poorly or just the way it performes now just with the difference that you have to install 2 or more engines with the same specs.

In terms of your shield why do you want different shield emmitters?
One for fore and one for your back? That would mean that you have to distribute power to each side seperately on a different powerlevel.
And since you can't emmit a forcefield behind a forcefield you won't gain anything.
So this idea is nonsens even if the idea of strengthening one side seems logical but that would kill the game and the players cause the game would be too complex for a causal game.

Hull is not determined by tier - it's determined by how big your ship is, what skills you leveled, what armorplates you installed and in gameterms how the ship will be balanced in the big sceme.

So better think before you write

I think the point was to either have primary and secondary shields so you have layers of shielding,or that shields would stack HP wise and have the benefits of both shield types,for example Resilient and Regenerative combined.

It's just a very,very bad idea and leave it at that.
