yay kindergarten all over again in 2000...... Least I get to go back to Canada and can warn people bout random stuff. (heck I'd probably get booted up several grades, knowing me)
I'd use my future knowledge of the Star Wars vs Star Trek argument to blow away the competition. And I'd make my parents put me in school instead of home schooling. Don't get me wrong, home schooling is great for learning. Put me a full year and a half ahead of my classmates in most subject areas. But I have a greater appreciation for friends and relationships now.
I'd seriously knuckle down and do well in school, and get my dad to take that job overseas. I'd be listening to John Peel every night for blossoming bands like Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure, Specials AKA etc. I'd be able to watch Liverpool FC win the league and in Europe again (1979), and because I can recall every 1st Division and Premiership winner since 1973, I'd get my dad to put big bets on at the start of every season. King Kenny at his finest. I'd ruin Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi for all those a-holes who bullied me at school.
Last thing would be to put all my money into a high yield account and not touch it for 32 years....
Nice of things people would do at 6. Or was the OP asking what we'd do from that point forward? Then I will change my answer but it made it seem like what would you do if you were 6 again.
Yes, I meant your starting again at age 6, and going forward again from that point. The whole idea is to think of what would you do different, if you have your same mind set you have now. Not the one you had back at age 6, but what you are today, but in your 6 year old body. Then go forward from there.
You guys with buying stocks, and saving money I don't know. lol Again you have to remember your a kid again, and a very young one. Woudld your parents listen to you at this point in your life? Would they give you money to save the way you want it? Would they play the stock market cause you said so?
I guess it depends on what time era your starting again, and how much you can remember of the events that will paly out, and what you can change. I don't see you changing much at age 6, at age 12 , then 20 sure you can. The trick is limited to what you are aloud to do, and parents are parents no matter what time your in, and they will not let you just do what you want, even if you scream it at the top of your lungs.
Well...........maybe the more open mided ones will listen. I know my mom and grand mom didn't listen to me much back then. Yeck not alot of adults listened to the kids back then, they were right and we were wrong lol.
