I agree, it doesn't make much sense, Bashir or Crusher handled critical injuries why can't out ship's medi-bays. But yeah, critical ship injuries should have to be repaired in a starbase like ESD etc

Would be nice if sickbay healing or engineering repairs had a small mini-game that either determined success or reduced cost of the relevant regenerator etc.

Also acts a small time sink whilst healing rather than click - done...

Just started playing and a Critical Regenerator dropped. I know you can't buy these from Vendors, but I was wondering if they were consumed on use or could be used infinitely? Don't want to test it before I know!
