Section 31 would probably never truly back this style of alliance either.

As I said, it opens the Federation too much to getting backstabbed. Especially when you throw out a "everybody's invited"

If I may point out an example.

Using the logic of "everybody is invited to join" Then my custom race, allied to the KDF, joins in. They can then easily put out their network of spies and informants, EASILY infiltrate the federation as they are now "allies". Then when it stops being useful for them, they strike, hard and fast, and could cripple the federation due to their spies.

Likewise, the Romulans would probably do the same thing. As would the Orions.

No but the high command does, uniting is the only way, us coming together as one is the only way. If we do not stand as one than we will all be assimilated or dead.

If the federation cannot unite itself and create a solution that everybody is at least partly happy with, then it has no right trying to get the rest of the galaxy united.

The more amusing thing here is he yells for uniting everybody, yet at the same time pushes away any federation member who speaks against him <_<.

Starfleet intel will monitor this situation and will step in if federation ships from either side fire on each other. So I suggest you all work this out. So I suggest you all work this out peaceably. Intel will be monitoring all of you

If I may ask, when has starfleet intel done anything by itself? I can't remember a situation. It was almost always "Oh, we got something to retrieve here, hey USS Fantastic, ferry our man here and back."

Besides, as I said, the one pushing for this seem to be the ones actually causing the situation to spiral worse, not be better.

You have already done the same. You have already openly stated how you will fire on federation ships. Sounds to me like you are helpin the Klingons in this war. Because them or the romulans are the ones who would benifit from a Feds fighting each other.

Starfleet intel has ships at it disposal don't think intel is unprepared if something happens.
