Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
Hope your holidays were what you wished they would be. I've got questions about STO subscriptions. The first being: do GOLD (Non-lifetime) Players get access to the Liberated Borg Species? Everything I've read to this point says no, but also that things are "subject to change." Assuming that, such access is possible, do I lose access to the said species when/if my subscription lapses? Also, and this one is pretty important, is there a way to use prepaid cards or the like for STO subscription time? I'd like to make sure that if there is such a thing, I do it in a correct/functional way. It seems like it may be possible but in cases like this, err on the side of caution XD. Any useful info is appreciated.
the borg was/is for lifetime subs only as i understand it.
the gamecards work just fine, each and every unused code on that card is still valid.
and whatever you once had, before subscription ran out, you keep.
you should however check if after your subscription runs out the EC limit is still 1 billion...it may fall down to 10 million, which can be a bummer if you hit the cap. you may need to buy the EC limit cap rise from the z-store for 400 zen.
I have a question. When I get my taxes in I plan to be a lifetime subscriber, but I dont have a credit card. Is there a way to use 3, 100 dollar gift cards, or would it have to be a gift card larger than 100 dollars if i can find them?
