The October prediction isn't a new one - it's part of the same prediction. Remember, at least in the interpretation he works off of, the Rapture isn't the end of the world, just the last horrah before things get really bad. All of his previous predictions have followed the same pattern: Rapture in May, Apocalypse in October. When the Rapture doesn't materialize, he says it was a spiritual judgement and not a physical one. When the Apocalypse also doesn't materialize, he disappears until enough people forget about him to try again.
This guy's as bad as that Ponzi scheme guy...and should be treated just the same.
I wish it were this easy but if you go after one fraud fleecing its flock, you'd have to go after all of them... and they'll start tossing up first amendment rights as reasons they can get away with it.
