Btw why do all holograms flicker ? It kind of defeats their purpose....
I agree... The complaint seems quite silly... It's like complaining over that we have a holoemitter for species 8472, but the people who want a faction, didn get it yet.

The holograms obviously only flicker for allies... cause I was standing right next to a squad of KDF when the hologram flickered, and they seemed unaffected by this.

Yes they all flicker.

Though i can understand you personally aren't upset about it, there are some who feel differently about it due to the personal experience with the issue. The item is in game, has been since release. When players asked for it they were told they were getting something cooler. Shoulder armor that would 'evolve'.

Requests died down in anticipation over what was thought to be by some, shoulder armor that after a veteran sub mark was reached could have a cloak type attachment to it. Or at least something similar to it. The re-skinned Romulan 'cape' was not expected at all so the requested for the Captain Kruge style cloak or Dahar Master coat rekindled.

Within it's wake a remastered federation mission gives starfleet the Dahar Master coat; albeit for a disguise. Somebody when doing this remaster mission planning should have stopped and thought "oh snap, the klingons want this uniform, this may come across as a proverbial slap in the face". that's it, right there. I don't think I can spell it out more clearly without going into a full on documentary.

i believe that the point of this complaint is not that the federation has the holo emitter, but rather that cryptic has a functioning working player model for a uniform the KDF faction has asked for over a year ago and many times since and rather than grant the KDF access to this highly desired uniform they first give it to the federation albeit temporarily. the fact is that cryptic has what we wanted working fully and would rather give the feds a copy than grant a single KDF wish.

I've now played the mission... The model was in-game prior to this mission. It has not been shown on a "Player Model", so to speak. The disguise does not change the clothes of your character - it essentially replaces them with a default NPC (Which is wearing the jacket). The jacket is not functioning as an independant object of the costume... I do agree that Klingons should get this jacket, many other requested objects and more content but I (Personally) see no issue here. The jacket is not permanent and is not customisable. It is not being granted to the character... It's a part of a whole non-changeable costume - like the Breen/Reman costume.

Sadly, even the c-store hates the klingons. I´m not really sure it would be a wise decision to put heaps of klingon stuff into the c-store.

Should add that it's also completely random. I was in a group with three males, and the "swordmaster" costume was randomly given, and changed with each map transition.

Again, this is not an equippable or customizable item. This is an effect which transforms you into a standard NPC. This thread is like complaining because UFP and KDF got transformed into Devidians by Q.

I think the (valid) point made is that the model is working on a player's body. Meaning the item can easily be made available to KDF warriors since it is proven to work.

Only my personal opinion, I would not be surprised how much stuff could "fly off the shelf" if it was made available to KDF players through the C-store. Probably a good potential source of revenue....

Not quite; it changes your overall apperance to an NPC that normally wears it. Player Outfits need to be able to adjust to the wide variety of body sizes and other customizations the player can make. And that is not as easy as one would think.

Not to mention they debut Klingon OPERA ... in a fed mission.

Seriously ... this is the first time in a long, long, LONG time I'm tempted to rage.
