# 1 Origin of the borg mission?
05-28-2011, 02:04 PM
I stopped playing STO because the storyline is little weak (my opinion)
And I was hoping on more borg missions

specially episodes about where did the borg came from...
who made the borg?
Who led the borg in there early years?

some episodes where you have to spy borg ships and travel to there creator(s)
maybe an other dimension or an hidden sphere where they still live and are in a state of sleep
and well I will let that open....

COME ON CRYPTIC, MORE BORG. and stronger storylines something mind blowing

I hope something like that will come to STO. Please?

There's definitely more Borg stuff coming. If you read Ask Cryptic executive producer Dan Stahl specifically mentions how they'll be getting beefed up. Likewise, the calendar shows the Borg invasion Deep Space Encounters begin sometime between June 23-25. There will be some major Borg conflict before featured episode Series 4 kicks off.

Not to mention, the Engineering Report says the fourth Borg STF, "Into the Hive" is in progress. It will be out by September or earlier.

For continuous information on what's coming to STO, I highly recommend this. Enjoy!

NO MORE BORG.

What about Tholians?
More Klingon missions in endgame (heck we're at war with them)
More Hirogen
even more Undine...

but please no more Borg.

Thank you

Your nutters the borg are one of the best opponent factions in star trek.. The undine, yawn. Their another changling whoopity doo, granted I would like to visit fluidic space more. But the borg. Man. Resistance is futile

The Tholians will be in an upcoming featured episode series (5 or 6). Additionally, Undine will be back with the Borg very soon (before Series 4).

Legacy pretty much cleared that even though its just soft canon.
It even makes sense if you think about it, especially about lya's sentences once she got assimilated.

If you read the StarTrek: Destiny books, it actually explains the origins of the borg. It's a three book series and you run into some familiar faces. Though I Cryptic would use that storyline for reason that you will have to read and find out for yourselves.

That too.
Just keep in mind that books are not more canon than games. both are soft canon.
We still have to wait until CBS or Paramount reveals their origin.
