Was bumming around with my feddie, Rosi, and I am seeing more and more coordination from random fed pugs. The feddies are getting better, Chancellor Jmpok! They actually support and focus fire now!

No more hold-spacebar-down-with-rock victories for my klings it seems.

Most of the suggestions have been to have a solo queue, and a solo+team queue. I think it's safe to assume that most of the better (or cockier) solo players would still queue for solo+team. Most of the time I don't care if I fight a premade, but I'll admit that there are times when I just don't want to deal with it. Fighting the same team over and over really sucks, especially if the team is built to exploit whatever the FOTM over-powered twink tactic of the day is.

If a team of 5 FAW-boats shows up, a PUG is not beating them unless they get extremely lucky both in the group make-up, and in the experience level. Running up against two or three teams in the row all using the same cheese is enough to make a solo player do pretty much anything else to avoid them.

I've seen a couple of posters in this thread (not saying you are one of them) suggesting that the solution is for solo players to team up. Maybe that's good advice, but doing that would put them in the solo+team queue, so the premades would still have people to fight.

Having a solo-only queue isn't an alternative to solo+team, it's an alternative to playing Rock Band. I think the better (or more cocky) solo players would still queue to fight premades most of the time. But having another option other than quitting during those times when you run into a string of unlucky pairings would be really nice. If nothing else it would give less experienced PvPers a bit less competetive queue to learn in.

Really, we all know PvP is so broken that Cryptic has to put some signficant time into it. But all liklihood we are just going to see some quick fixes.

So Casual PvPers have to suffer because we can't beat you and have to accept losing all the time? That's exactly why there is hardly any new blood.

No, it's not. Teams just fair better than individuals. But PvP is definitely not for Teams, just look at the PvP that goes in Ker'rat. And I guarantee you, when Open PVP and Territorial PvP zones are added, people will be PvPing solo there as well.

In the end i still agree with what beagles said, i dont think someone can be a great player untill they play in the toň tier premade v premade games. (not that i put myself in that category at all!)

Also, i think i played both with and against you dalnar (i'm kort) :p

GGs

Edit: eh i put this in the wrong thread... Lol :p

Ontopic: i dont think we have population for this atm. Dunno if it's been suggested but what about just a new premade que thag you can only join with a team but stilm keep the old ques. That way a team wont have to wait forever for another team to get on.
Following up on this, yesterday, Thamupp and I got thrown into a match with three pugs against a premade, and we managed to score nine kills, it was great fun
