Not? I always scroll away a bit using the mouse wheel.

Try your mouse wheel or any button used for zooming the camera out.

I don't have a mouse wheel, because I'm using a laptop. I'm not buying a wireless mouse.

You should really consider getting a mouse anyway. A real mouse works a lot better than the track pad. You can get an inexpensive one for about $20.

But I'm pretty sure you should be able to use the camera zoom out keys as well.

Also depending on how old your laptop is(if its running STO then it should be new enough) most trackpads have scroll wheel functionality built into them. Usually the right hand side of the pad has this functionality. I would also join the chorus of highly suggesting spending the $20(though I have seen them for as little as $10) for a USB mouse. They tend to have an improved sensitivity and obviously a wider range for moving across the screen.

Yea I use it all the time. It doesn't work on STO though.

Well, as several have said - the functionality is there. If you don't care to spend money for an external mouse, thats your choice. You can go into the options menu and assign a key to zoom in and zoom out. I forget what the default ones are. Also, its waist, not waste. I don't want to see any waste on characters costumes.

I'd also like the ability to zoom in a lot more on the face.

Also, size sliders. Anyone know if their absence is by design or because they haven't gotten around to them yet?
