Played about a year ago, have a VA Caitian Male Thre'Kresh Tactical officer (Cruiser types) and started over my engineer Solara (might go sci ship with her, or escort).

Casual gamer at the moment, due to work.
Used to be in the guild, but due to some issues it was disbanded. Not looking for a hardcore guild, usually get left in the dust in those. Prefer smaller fleets, tend to get lost in larger ones, and larger doesn't mean active either.
Looking for a mature yet fun and active guild preferably active in the eastern time zone (GMT-5) and area.
Were levels don't matter when people what to do things, and don't mind helping etc...

Casual RP'r, not a trekker/trekkie, but I know enough of the universe to not fumble around, just letting that out information wise.
Looking for a fairly active guild since although the game is fun and enjoyable it been fun to go through missions with others (specially with new engineer.) L7 I think at the moment.

It sounds like we are exactly what you are looking for. Although we have only 35 members we was a tight knit fleet. We are made up of people in their 30's, 40's and beyond. We are a "mature" fleet and casual however I am finding that the "social" side of the fleet are bringing more people in than they normally would be. Sort of their home away from home. We have a mix of gamers and non gamers, people that have been on STO since bata and newbies.

Some of us have been working on a backstory trying to explain why captains in the 25th century are wearing old TOS or TNG uniforms. It is a lot of fun and the trekker/trekkie in the fleet will keep us all on track.

Although 3rd Fleet is not a small fleet it is a friendly and active fleet. We are an international fleet so count our membership across many time zones, including a fair number in EST. This has the advantage of having members in game most hours of the day.

We call ourselves a mature fleet, although we do not have restrictions on age, we require our membership to have respect and also be relaxed, there are definitely no mandated game times. We try to be friendly, helpful and fun so newbies are as welcome as aging VA's.

To keep our membership maxing out the fun potential we are constantly running STF's, levelling parties and joint fleet events. We RP and PvP but I'd call these "light" (though we are keen to improve).

Thanks for the replies guy, busy until next week, so If I don't reply quickly it's just because I haven't had a chance to look things up, just quickly jumped on to check if there were any replies.... will be more active starting next week. If I am going to be on this week it's just for a few minutes. Replacing someone at work with different work hours and it's wrecking havoc on my off time.
