***Resolved Issues***
"Login failed for unknown reason" error
Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
Hi all i just recently upgraded from 32 bit windows 7 to 64 bit and ever since then i have been unable to get past the character load screen i get the error
"Fatal Error: Error decompressing data. Verifying files in the launcher may fix this issue." (it does not)
"Technical Details:.piggs/texture3.hogg:
Texture_Library/Costumes/Emblem/Emblem_Alternate_Future_01_E.wt
ex: Error decompressing data. verifying files may fix this issue." (it does not)
Here are the steps i have taken so far.
1. I have updated all video,sound and nic drivers.
2. I have updated windows 7 and my bios.
3. i have re-installed STO about four times in different locaton and profiles.
Ok i was able to fix it i just went into the game and deleted file the game that was geiving me the error now it runs fine just cant use the Alternate Future badge or it will crash.
