It's happening with all cloak-capable ships. This is a bug, as it hasn't happened before the previous couple of patches. I say bug because this was not announced as being a fix for anything.

It's a new general issue with Cloak. I haven't tried if Mask Energy Signature is also affected.

Very annoying.

Interesting observation:

Not only do I have the issue above, but I have also noticed that cloaking exits any kind of dialogue box I was in.

I.E.
BOff1: "Look! Federation Dogs! Let's kill them! And then..."
Me: "Activate cloaking device"
BOff1: "Okay, everyone shut up. If you talk, we will be detected and our cloaking device will go offline"
silence...
*crickets chirp* *ship decloaks*
BOff2: "dammit, they've detected--"

Ship:boom.

I have had this happen in my Captain level Raptor during a Pi Canis Sortie.

I've been experiencing this on every cloaked ship I use. All pop up message windows immediately decloak the ship.

This did not happen before the last big patch.

Dialog kills MES also, but only if you acknowledge the message. If you just minimize the window, it stays running.

every time i see a dev post in the tracker in one of these cloaking is broken threads i get all happy until i discover its just wishstone closing the thread. maybe Cryptic will release a working cloak in the c-store in the future.

Now entering space dock control area. This crappy pop up has decloaked you for no apparent reason.

Why is it so hard to communicate with the player base and inform them with an announcement that developers are looking into the matter trying to actualy fix the bug ?
Give us some insight of what you (we) are dealing with.Have u identify the problem ? Is it perhaps more complicated than u initialy thought ? "Let us in on it" so we at least Know that YOU DO CARE .
By closing threads and responding like bots you keep turning the player community against you

Noticing it as well on my Cmdr level BOP as well as the one before it.

My Klingon's captured defiant also has the same problem.

My biggest fear is that if I keep shooting them when it happens, I might run out of bridge officer candidates.
